Celebrating World Refugee Day

On June 16th, Matthew Soerens, U.S. Director of Church Mobilization and Advocacy for World Relief and National Coordinator for the Evangelical Immigration Table, partnered with InterVarsity Press to present a webinar for World Refugee Day. World Refugee Day was created by the United Nations to bring awareness to the plight of refugees while also celebrating the refugees strength and resilience as they strive for a better life. The day has been celebrated every year on June 20th since 2001. In the webinar, Soerens is joined by ‘Refuge Reimagined‘ authors Mark R. Glanville and Luke Glanville to discuss the refugee crisis from the perspective of the church. You can watch and listen to the webinar here.
