Voices of Christian Dreamers: Martha Draayer

The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program has offered protection to eligible immigrants who came to the United States as youth, but the program is temporary and offers little stability for these individuals, families, and communities. As the DACA program continues to face various threats, it is urgent that Congress implements permanent protections for Dreamers. As Christians, we are called to welcome the foreigner among us and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

In an interview with Jason Lief, Martha Draayer discusses the opportunities that DACA has blessed her with and emphasizes the importance of permanent solutions.
