Refugee Reimagined

 In Telling a Better Story

The Bible is clear about welcoming the stranger, but to do so, many of us inside and outside the church need to go through a process of undeceiving to learn what Scripture really says and means. In this episode of the podcast Undeceptions, hosted by John Dickinson, Mark and Luke Glanville (experts in theology and policy) and Akram Khaieo (a Syrian refugee who arrived in Australia in 2016) share their knowledge and experiences to discuss what biblical welcome means, especially towards the foreigner.

“Christianity is clear. Providing refuge for the downtrodden foreigner isn’t politics. It reflects one of the most basic ideas of the faith. That God is merciful to the needy outsider.”
